technical difficulties

Well, our computer decided to take a nose dive over the holidays.  The verdict: the video card is shot.  A new one costs $350-$500, so Doug and I are currently weighing our options.  Replace our 5 year old computer or just get a new video card?  Oh, and we have a Mac.  So, that's my excuse for not blogging.  It's really hard to do when you're squinting at a screen trying to make out  what you just typed.
