1 Month Old

At 1 month old you are:

7lbs 11oz (10%)

21 inches (25%)

Kennedy is such a happy little girl.  She started smiling at 4 weeks, but I still haven't caught it on camera.  We are enjoying every day with her!

She loves:

• Sleeping!  Just like her mama :)  She typically sleeps for a 4 or 5 hour stretch at night, wakes up to nurse, and goes right back to sleep for another 3.  We have even had a few 7 or 8 hour stretches!!!
• The boob.  
• Sitting up.  Obviously we have to hold her up, but she loves looking around.
• Riding in the car.  The vibration puts her right to sleep.
• Her swing.
• Sleeping in bed with mom and dad.  Although we try not to make this a habit.
• Being dressed up in ridiculous outfits.  Right Kennedy?

She's not at all into:

• Being put in her car seat.
• Having her diaper changed.
• Falling asleep in her cradle.  She wants to be held until she's out cold.
• Being hungry.

Some highlights of the her first month:

Meeting Santa for the first time at the Holiday Stroll.

Doug took 2 weeks off of work and got to spend lots of hanging out with us.

So many visitors coming to admire and love on her.

Her first bath.  She's a big fan.

Playing baby Jesus one night and baby John another night in our church Christmas pageant.  Her agent told us that she should refuse to act unless she got to be baby Jesus both nights, but we decided she was doing it to serve the Lord, so we let it slide.
